Here's a few questions I get asked. If you have anything else to ask, please pick my brain and send me a message.
When it comes to your wedding day, I usually set the entire day aside so I can be as accommodating as possible. Just tell me where and when to appear.
Some couples want the little moments whilst getting ready captured, some can’t even bare the thought of it – it’s your wedding, you decide. Some couples are fine with just the first dance and then kicking me out, some want me to capture them after one too many when everyone is singing Loch Lomond. It’s a personal choice.
Congratulations, we’re both passengers on this same struggle bus. I too am hard work in front of a camera. There are ways and means around that horrible feeling, and I usually just subtly direct you to keep your mind occupied whilst I snap away.
But couples tend to bounce wonderfully off of each other, so it’s never much of an issue in practice. Think about it…… you have this stranger (me hopefully) taking an obscene amount of photos of you, on probably the biggest day of your life – it’s going to feel absurd. Because it is absurd. So just go with it.
Given that we have on average 2,100 photos on our phones, I don’t feel that offering a dedicated printing service is something I particularly need to provide at this point. Never say never, but most people like to view their photos digitally, and most will ponder over deciding their true favourite image before giving it pride of place on their wall. I am more than happy to point you in the right direction to avoid blurry poster prints (I would find this deeply upsetting). I want you to enjoy the images I take in all of their glory!
